| Executive Director
Bouchelle comes to Missions Resource Network from the Central Church of Christ, Amarillo, Texas, where he has served for nine years as senior minister. Prior to his role at the Central Church, Bouchelle served as pulpit minister for the Alameda Church of Christ, Norman, Oklahoma from 1994 to 2001 and ministered with the Northwest Church of Christ, Abilene, Texas, from 1988 to 1994.
Bouchelle earned his Doctor of Ministry, Master of Divinity, and Master of Arts degrees from Abilene Christian University. He received his Bachelors degree from the University of Houston - Clear Lake.
Bouchelle serves as chairman of the Board of Directors for Christian Relief Fund. He is author of When God Seems Absent: Studies in Ruth and Esther, published by ACU Press, and The Gospel Unleashed and The Gospel Unhindered, published by College Press.
Bouchelle and his wife, Amy, have three children.

| Associate Director
Alan Phillips grew up as a missionary's kid in Australia,
son of Marvin and Dot Phillips. He graduated from Oklahoma
Christian University and worked for the university for 17
years in the president's and development offices. He was
appointed Vice President for Development at OCU in 1987.
In 1993, he left the university to begin a development consulting
practice for churches and church-related non-profit organizations.
Alan serves as the Senior Partner of Phillips Consulting,
with offices in Dallas and Atlanta. His initial relationship
with Missions Resource Network was as a fundraising consultant
in 1999, but he was appointed Associate Director in 2000.With
a heart for world evangelism, Alan also assumed in 2004 the
role of facilitating South Pacific church planting.
He is the missions committee chairman for the Lake Cities
Church of Christ in Trophy Club, Texas. He and his wife,
Donna, have three children.

| Director for Church Equipping
Jay holds a BA from Texas Tech University in History and Speech Communications. He is also a 1986 graduate of the Sunset School of Preaching and a 1987 graduate of the Sunset School of Missions. The Sunset church sponsored Jay and Sherry while they served on a church-planting team in Mexico City for six years. They result is Mexico City's Metropolitan Church of Christ. The Metro church is now a multiplying church with its own Mexican elder and other leaders.
Jay has worked in various roles in Sunset's ministry, including serving as the Director of the Adventures in Missions (AIM) internship program and the Dean of Missions in the Sunset International Bible Institute SIBI). Jay also served as the Lead Minister at the Sunset church 2006-2010.
Jay will lead MRN's initiatives to equip U.S. and foreign churches in stewarding more effective world missions.
His passion is seeking to be transformed into the image of Christ and helping others in the same quest. He enjoys reading, playing golf, spending time with his family and loves Mexican "tacos al pastor."
Jay and his wife Sherry (Holcomb) have been married for more than 25 years and have two children, Meagan and Ryan.

| Director for Research and Global Planning
Bob and his wife, Gina, have been involved in missions ever
since he was converted to Christ during his freshman year
at Pepperdine University, where he was attending on an academic
scholarship. While still in school, Bob preached for the
Japanese-American congregation in Los Angeles. Following
graduation, he and Gina worked with the church in Juneau,
Alaska. Then Bob earned his M.A. in missions at Abilene Christian
University in Abilene, Texas, and the family moved to Guatemala
in 1972 as missionaries with primary responsibilities in
church planting and leadership training. After returning
to the U.S., Bob taught missions first at the Bear Valley
School of Biblical Studies in Denver, Colorado, and then
at Abilene Christian University. He also served for 10 years
as Co-Director of the Continent of Great Cities ministry
with the objective of planting large churches in the state
and federal capitals of South America. In 1998, he earned
a doctorate in Missions from Trinity Evangelical Divinity
School near Chicago, with an emphasis on urban church planting.
Bob has been the Executive Director of Missions Resource
Network since its beginning in August 1998. He also serves
as a trustee of the Bell Trust.

for Missionary Care
With her late husband, Tom, Dorris (Dottie) Schulz served
as a missionary in Amsterdam, 1962-1971 and 1972-1977. Dottie
earned her master of science degree in Human Development
and the Family and her Ph.D. in Community and Human Resources,
both from the University of Nebraska. Her dissertation was
on missionary reentry. She holds licensure from the State
of Nebraska Department of Health as a Licensed Mental Health
Practitioner, Certified Professional Counselor, and Certified
Marriage and Family Therapist.
Dottie has worked as adjunct faculty in the Department of
Human Development and the Family at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln
and served as Assessment Director of the Human Resources
Management Program at Friends University in Wichita, Kansas,
where she was also Associate Professor of Family Therapy
and Human Services/Psychology.
Dottie had worked at York College in York, Nebraska, before
earning her doctorate, and returned there in 1991, where
she was Professor of Psychology and Family Studies and Director
of the Cornhusker Center for Human Development until coming
to Missions Resource Network in 2004.

| Associate
Director for Missionary Care
In addition to his part-time role with MRN, which he has
capably filled since 2002, Dale Hawley is an Associate Professor
and Chair, Human Development and Family Studies and Program
Director, MS in Family Studies and Human Development at the
University of Wisconsin-Stout. He holds a master's degree
in Marriage and Family Therapy from Abilene Christian University
and a Ph.D. in Family Social Science from the University
of Minnesota. He was previously on the faculty at North Dakota
State University and has worked as adjunct faculty with the
University of North Dakota Medical School, the University
of Minnesota, and Bethel Theological Seminary.
He has also served churches in Minnesota and Wisconsin as
a minister with a primary emphasis on families. Dale has
worked with several missionary teams, both on the field and
in pre-field preparation. He has primary research interests
in missionary kids and their families and in the area of
family resilience. Dale and his wife, Vicki, have three children
and are members of the Church of Christ in Minneapolis, Minnesota,
where Dale serves as an elder.

| Director for Missions Development
While still in college, Lanny participated in two six-week mission internships in Africa that changed his life and developed his passion for sharing Christ with others.
With a team of seven urban church planters, Lanny and his wife, Suzy, established the PUMP Church of Christ among the ethnically diverse population of Portland, Oregon's inner city where they worked and lived from 2001-2006. He then served as the Director for Advancement at Cascade College in Portland until the school closed and he came to Missions Resource Network in 2009.
With a team of seven urban church planters, Lanny and his wife, Suzy, established the PUMP Church of Christ among the ethnically diverse population of Portland, Oregon's inner city where they worked and lived from 2001-2006. Lanny's work involves developing mission teams, assisting churches as they send out missionaries, and raising funds for the ministry. He and Suzy have three young daughters.

| Facilitator
for African Church Planting
Sam Shewmaker was born in Zambia to missionary parents. After
graduating from Harding University in Searcy, AR, Sam and
his wife, Nancy, served in Zambia and Kenya for 29 years.
He planted churches, trained African church leaders, did
relief work with World Vision International and co-founded Africans
Claiming Africa, a movement to pass the evangelistic baton
to the African church. He compiled and edited Drumbeat, a
newspaper for churches of Christ in Africa and two books:
Africans Claiming Africa: Living the Vision, 1998, and A
Great Light Dawning: Profiles of Faith in Africa, 2002.
Sam also co-directed the 2002 Jabulani Conference held
in the Dallas-Fort Worth area to celebrate 100 years of missions
to Africa by churches of Christ. He received his M.A. in
Missiology from Fuller Theological Seminary in 1987.
From 2000-2005, Shewmaker served as Missionary-in-Residence
for Africa at Harding University, teaching missions courses,
coordinating a weekly Africa missions interest group, directing
Harding's international missions internships and mentoring
students during their mission internships and survey trips
to Africa.
Sam and his wife, Nancy, are supported by Sunny Hills Church
of Christ, Fullerton, CA, Airline Drive Church of Christ,
Bossier City, LA and Richland Hills Church of Christ, Fort
Worth, TX. He and his wife, Nancy, now reside in Kigali,
Rwanda, where they have opened MRN's African offices.

| Facilitator for
Asian Church Planting
Mark and his wife, Debbie, were missionaries in Mumbai (Bombay),
India, from 1985-1990, where they were active in church planting,
personal evangelism, city-wide evangelistic campaigns and
leadership training. Before coming to Missions Resource Network,
Mark served for 16 years as Assistant Professor of Bible
and Missions at Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson, Tennessee.
During his time there, he directed FHU's Mission Studies
Program and coordinated Spring Break and summer campaigns
to India, China, Thailand, Sri Lanka and the Philippines,
as well as to locations in Africa and South America.
Mark received his B.A. from Harding University and a Masters
of Theology in Missions from Harding University Graduate
School of Religion. While in India, Mark obtained an M.A.
and Ph.D. in Anthropology from the University of Mumbai.
Mark has served as the pulpit minister for congregations
in Arkansas and Tennessee. He and Debbie have two children,
Kyle and Kristen. Both are forming mission teams to return
to Asia as missionaries.
Mark and Debbie partner with the Highland Oaks Church of
Christ, Dallas, Texas, in their work for Asia at Missions
Resource Network.

| Facilitator for
European Church Planting
Phil grew up in Arkansas and Texas, the son of a minister's
family. He received his B.B.A. from Harding University and
later his J.D. from the University of Arkansas. After completing
their respective educations, Phil and his wife, Rebecca,
met on a short-term mission trip in Bucharest, Romania in
1991. That mission trip turned their interests toward Romania
and each other, and they returned to Bucharest in 1993 as
a missionary family. They worked three years with the Bucharest
church, also helping start the church in Ploiesti, a city
located 40 miles from Bucharest. In 1996, they and another
mission family moved to Cluj, located in northwest Romania,
and began planting a church there. The Jacksons also organized
and promoted an annual Christian camp and national church
conferences in Bucharest.
The family returned to the States and Phil joined Missions
Resource Network in 2002. As European Facilitator, Phil is
recruiting long-term mission teams for strategic locations
throughout Europe and working with missionaries and churches
to develop effective mission strategies for those locations.
They have two children and are members of the Prestoncrest
Church of Christ in Dallas.

| Office Manager
Marti, mother of twin sons, became a Texan in 1994 after
growing up in Alaska and spending several years in different
locations around the country. Her background consists of
undergraduate studies at Lipscomb University, and administrative,
investigative and sales work with a variety of businesses
extending from Alaska to Washington D.C. and points in between.
Her more recent experience includes serving as Executive
Secretary for the Senior Minister at her home congregation,
Saturn Road Church of Christ. Following that, she worked
as Billing Specialist at the Mesquite campus of Christian
Care Centers, Inc., handling the finances for the three independent
living segments of the ministry.
She has participated in short-term mission trips around
the states, and to Austria and Ireland. She is enthusiastic
in her service as part of the Missions Resource Network family.

| Administrative Assistant
Kelley graduated from Harding University with a degree in
Business Management. Active in various organizations while
in high school, Kelley also worked for a county judge for
five years during her summer and holiday breaks from Harding.
She joined the MRN staff in July 2004.
Kelley has been involved in short-term missions, both domestic
and foreign, and studied for a semester in Florence, Italy.
Her travels have sparked a growing interest in people of
different cultures and their spiritual needs. Kelley currently
resides in the Fort Worth area.
