Pasir Panjang Church of Christ, Singapore
The Pasir Panjang Church of Christ in Singapore, an indigenous-led church of more than 400 believers that has been in existence for 47 years, has become a vibrant part of God’s mission in Singapore and throughout Southeast Asia.
Their sacrificial missions giving has provided more than $1,000,000 for mission efforts in recent years. Almost half of their members have been on at least one short-term mission. These short-term missions have benefitted Kingdom growth in Malaysia, India, China, Vietnam, the Philippines, Myanmar, and Indonesia.
They have partnered with Sunset International Bible Institute in establishing a Singapore training school, and also with other churches to plant churches in Indonesia, the Philippines, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Malaysia, and China. They support eleven missionaries in eight different countries.
In 2011, the Pasir Panjang church formalized a partnership with Missions Resource Network as a Global Launch Site to advance indigenous disciple-making throughout Asia.
