The Crossroads Christian Church has had a long history of missions engagement. We're thankful for God's faithfulness and the ability to partner together to advance the Kingdom.
It's time for us to spend some time praying and dreaming together. After 15 years of waiting and building, the Missions Ministry team is now able to begin the process of searching for our next Living Link Missionary from Crossroads. But the real question is…what direction do we go? That is why the Missions Ministry Team is inviting you, our Crossroads family, to participate in the MAP (Missions Assessment and Prayer) initiative. So that you can help us to discern, where on the “MAP” God will send us next.
The MAP initiative is a two-week prayer journey, guided by a prayer book or email prompts. You will be given instructions on what and how to pray as well as questions to ponder and seek God’s will for the answers. Week 1 (March 22 -28) will be about orienting us to the Mission of God and how to find our bearings and headings from that important center of gravity. Then Week 2 (March 29 – April 5) will be more specific about ministry and mission areas and awareness of potential opportunities both locally and globally. Some may find it helpful to keep a small journal as you ponder and answer some of the questions you are asked to consider. Following the two weeks of prayer, you will participate in a survey to answer some of the questions you have been instructed to consider. The results of the survey will not be made public, but the Missions Ministry Team will study them and ask God to reveal his will through the results.
