Day 10

This morning, the odds are decent you’ll be worshipping at a church made up of people somewhat like you. We humans tend to congregate with other humans like us. If you live in a larger city (or maybe even if you don’t), people from other countries will gather to worship the Father in their own languages in their own ways using their own songs. As you prepare to worship this morning, please pause to pray in line with this MedRim worker’s request.

When Nehemiah, who was living outside of Israel, heard about the situation in Jerusalem and his people there he was moved, grieved, and prayed for God to guide him in bringing restoration. Pray for more Nehemiah moments in which Syrians, Persians, Afghans, Kurds and Arabs living abroad would feel called to bring restoration and wholeness to their nations. Pray for refugees in Europe that have come to know Jesus to be empowered to share their faith with family and friends in their home countries so that we see God's name declared across the Middle East. Pray that these believers would be activated in their Kingdom gifts and purposes. It's time to rebuild.

It is time to rebuild. And some of those He’s calling to do the construction work might be right down the road from you today.

Thank you for praying.
