Day 11

This Monday we have the opportunity to be led to pray by Myra, an Iranian disciple maker currently living in Texas but working online with leaders throughout Iran. Pray along with her today.

I’d like to share a prayer focus for the month of Ramadan in Iran. During Ramadan, many Iranians who have distanced themselves from Islam become more defensive towards the message of Christ, and because of the cultural and social significance of this month, evangelism becomes more difficult. However, Christians in Iran are using this opportunity and trying to initiate conversations about Christ through Ramadan-related discussions.

For Ramadan, we’d be grateful if you could pray for these points:

1. Pray that God would soften the hearts of people and prepare them to receive the message of Christ.

2. Pray that the ministers and Christians in Iran would use the opportunity Ramadan presents to engage in conversations with others, and ask for wisdom and guidance from the Holy Spirit to make the most of every opportunity.

3. Pray for the protection of the ministers and house churches from any harassment, especially in this month when sensitivities and risks are higher.

4. Pray for spiritual breakthroughs during this time, that many would encounter Christ in personal and transformative ways, especially those who have been resistant or indifferent to the Gospel in the past.

Thank you for your prayer support.
