Day 13

I don’t know about you, but Map Day 2025 was SO much fun, it feels like we need a Part 2. Yesterday we prayed over the countries from which refugees come; let’s shift the focus today. MedRim worker Joni, who lives in southern Greece, asked that we pray for the countries and neighborhoods that receive them. 

  • Turkey - for safety over the refugees/asylum seekers there.  

  • Greece - for the Greeks as they learn to support and love the refugees/asylum seekers here. For their hearts to be open to the Gospel and for them to see Jesus for who He really is.  

  • Germany - as they take in so many refugees/asylum seekers. For unity, house churches and jobs.  

  • The Plateia Americas and Victoria neighborhoods in Athens, Greece - for the refugees/asylum seekers and low-income families that live there. For healthy community and house churches.  

  • Malakasa (a large refugee camp outside Athens) - for safety and peace among the people there.  

  • The Mediterranean - for all the refugees traveling by rafts in the sea from Turkey to Greece seeking safety.
