Day 13
I don’t know about you, but Map Day 2025 was SO much fun, it feels like we need a Part 2. Yesterday we prayed over the countries from which refugees come; let’s shift the focus today. MedRim worker Joni, who lives in southern Greece, asked that we pray for the countries and neighborhoods that receive them.
Turkey - for safety over the refugees/asylum seekers there.
Greece - for the Greeks as they learn to support and love the refugees/asylum seekers here. For their hearts to be open to the Gospel and for them to see Jesus for who He really is.
Germany - as they take in so many refugees/asylum seekers. For unity, house churches and jobs.
The Plateia Americas and Victoria neighborhoods in Athens, Greece - for the refugees/asylum seekers and low-income families that live there. For healthy community and house churches.
Malakasa (a large refugee camp outside Athens) - for safety and peace among the people there.
The Mediterranean - for all the refugees traveling by rafts in the sea from Turkey to Greece seeking safety.
Thank you for praying, friend. It’s an honor to be doing so with you this month.
