Day 26

Two things for you today, friend. 

First, pray for leaders who’ve come to Jesus from an Islamic background (often called MBBs, Muslim Background Believers). Pray in general for the Father to raise up leaders from His harvest. Then pray specifically for these:  

• Iranian leader and evangelist, Reza 

• Egyptian church leader, Haitham 

• Arabic-speaking youth leader, Yousef 

Second, I’m asking you to consider fasting with us tomorrow. Tomorrow is Laylat al Qadr, the Night of Power. It commemorates the night on which Allah revealed the first verses of the Quran to Mohammed. Because of this, it is commonly believed that the blessing of praying that night is better than that of a thousand months of worship and devotion. The same goes for any actions performed on that night – good deeds done on the Night of Power are worth the same as a thousand months of good deeds at other times in Allah’s eyes.  

Many of us here at MRN will be fasting tomorrow as we ask God to reveal Himself in power to Muslims who are seeking power from a different source. Tomorrow’s prayer requests will involve the practice of intentional warfare prayer; please consider preparing yourself to join with us by fasting with us tomorrow.
