Day 29

There’s never a moment when God cannot speak to us. Waking or sleeping, paying attention or ignoring, faithfully following or walking in darkness – His voice can break through to any of His children whenever He chooses.  

As Bahar has begun her journey with Jesus, she’s discovered that He often communicates with her in dreams. She recently shared a dream with a friend of hers, a MedRim worker living in the UK. Bahar was carrying a shining cross into Mecca. She discovered that she was brave and strong and not scared as she told people along the way about Jesus, even though they were all mad at her for doing so. When asked what it meant, Bahar said it’s clear that Jesus intends for her to tell Muslims about Him. However, she acknowledges waking up frightened and stressed because it was a scary dream that she somehow was not scared of. 

On this Friday, pray for Bahar to carry the shining message of Jesus to her friends, to walk boldly into scary situations and not be scared because of who Jesus is. Pray also that the Father would keep breaking into the minds, hearts, and lives of Muslims around the MedRim through dreams and visions. And pray also that His children would have eyes to see and ears to hear what He’s telling them.
